Chrono Trigger is a SNES RPG from the platform's best era. Speaking of eras, time is the factor that makes this game unique. Your character and two others travel back and forth, from 65 million BC, to the bleak End of Time, and many places in between.

My Review
Chrono Trigger has a somewhat unique play system, that's fast, fairly easy to use, and does what you want it to do. CT's music and sound are some of the best I've heard. Only Lufia 2 compares. The plot is involving, somewhat cliched, but still interesting. On difficulty, CT is very high. Some areas could be mistaken for endurance tests! CT has several optional sub-quests that are different than anything else I've seen. The atmosphere is of a general sense of urgency, sustained for three times what it should be, which removes from the game. I give Chrono Trigger a 94/100.
